Synopsis
One of the largest Asia-related human trafficking cases in U.S. history was the United States v. Global Horizons Inc. scheme (2001β2007), a major federal prosecution involving the exploitation of hundreds of foreign workers; now, years later and amid renewed concerns after 2021 about rising trafficking activity nationwide, federal authorities are investigating a sprawling underground criminal network known as the βWhite Tiger Gang,β accused of kidnapping young women between the ages of 15 and 25 across multiple states by targeting vulnerable teens in public areas and online before transporting them across state lines for exploitation, while in recent months multiple abduction attempts have been mysteriously disrupted by a lone unidentified man who witnesses say intervenes with precision, rescues the victims, incapacitates the suspects, and vanishes before police arrive, leaving behind restrained traffickers and crucial evidence that has helped investigators uncover larger cells, raising both relief and concern as officials stress that while one vigilante may interrupt crimes, dismantling a nationwide trafficking operation requires coordinated law enforcement action and sustained community vigilance.
