Zach Jansen is a filmmaker/screenwriter whose character-driven work focuses on characters' struggles to overcome surreal disruptions to their status quo. He has consistently been recognized for his unusual stories and ear for characterization and dialogue. Several of his short screenplays have been optioned and produced, and his feature script "Final Girl" was produced by Mad Wife Productions and available on numerous streaming platforms.

His feature screenplays have been named as a winners, finalists, semifinalists, and quarterfinalists in a variety of screenwriting competitions. He has a BA in screenwriting and an MA in film studies.
